With our continued efforts in promoting Australian artists in Asia via our Singapore office, it has been some time since Art Index held a solo exhibition in Australia. The decision to hold the solo show for ten-time finalist and 2003 winner of the Archibald prize, Geoff Dyer, proved to be inspired and a great success. The exhibition, held at the Australian Institute of Architects in Potts Point, was attended by collectors, investors and those looking to understand the art market further. Aside from the opportunity to appreciate Geoff’s exceptional talent and hear his entertaining insights, the guests also had the opportunity to listen to experienced and highly qualified researchers and valuers of the fine art market. It was a wonderful evening and a great opportunity to catch up with so many of our clients.
