Our rental team recently held an Art & Networking evening in Telstra’s Sydney CBD head office. The evening highlighted the importance of art in the corporate environment and was organised in conjunction with the Spanish and Swiss Chambers of Commerce. The night was a great success, with quality art on display and wine and canapes keeping the mood cheerful.
The evening’s definite highlight was an engaging and informative talk by Christabel Blackman, art conserver and daughter of Australian artist Charles Blackman. Christabel’s specialist and intimate knowledge enables her to be one of the foremost authorities on Australian art. Her insight, first hand accounts, memories and her appreciation of art, captivated guests. We are most grateful to Christabel for her time, her stories and most of all, her celebration of the life of an artist.
